We show our work
Every opportunity we recommend comes with the reasoning behind it: a Fit Score explained factor by factor, the eligibility rules and whether you appear to meet them, the deadline and award details, and a link to the funder's own page with the date we checked it. If something still needs confirming, we say so.
The more we know about your organization, the sharper the research gets. Every report shows what each recommendation is based on and flags anything worth double-checking, so nothing rests on a guess.
A Fit Score measures alignment, not the chance of being funded. It reflects our analysis of the information you provide and each funder's published criteria. It doesn't guarantee eligibility, selection, or an award, and funders can change deadlines and requirements, so always confirm details with the funder before applying.
Meet Nola
Grant Hounds is named for Nola, our adopted yellow hound and Lab mix. At 11, she still follows her nose until she finds what she's looking for, and she's never wasted time on a trail that went nowhere. That's the idea behind every fit report.
The brothers behind Grant Hounds
Between us we've spent more than 25 years inside public health agencies, state government, and public school systems, plus a decade running small businesses of our own, with an MBA and two master's degrees along the way. We've written the plans, managed the budgets, and answered for the results. That's why we can tell you what a funder is really asking for, and whether it's worth your time.

How is Grant Hounds different from a grant database?
A database gives you a place to search. We do the searching, then tell you which few opportunities are worth your time and why.
What is a grant fit report?
It's how we deliver our research: the opportunities we found for you, each with a Fit Score, a recommendation, the deadline, and the sources behind it.
Does a Fit Score guarantee funding?
No. It measures how well an opportunity matches your organization, not your chance of being funded. Funders decide, and they change their requirements.
Do you write the applications too?
No. We find and qualify the opportunities; you or your writer handle the application. Our reports hand you the eligibility rules, deadlines, documents, and funder links to work from.
Do you use AI?
Yes, for research and organizing. Every recommendation is checked against the funder's own information, and a person reviews every report.
